San Luis Potosi results now in doubt

The election institute for San Luis Potosi, CEE, suspended the preliminary vote count (PREP) and took down its website after discovering an error in the programming. The total number of votes counted by the PREP with 73% of the casillas counted was higher than the entire nominal voting list. No election results will be made public until the official count, which will start on the 8th for the state congress and on the 12th for governor. The PREP had shown a wide margin of victory for the PRI candidate Fernando Toranzo Fernández, in what had been considered a solid PAN state. (Universal 7/6)
